Co-founder Emily Ledeboer values all sort of yoga practices. Some days, she feels like challenging her fitness and focus, while on other days, the challenge lies in letting go and the art of total relaxation. With the intention as the foundation, Emily’s classes always adapt. Both the ones she takes and the ones she teaches.

With that in mind, she uses her classes and workshops to cater to a collective need and the day-to-day grind. That’s why she brings a different kind of energy to a workshop at the beginning of a full day of in house corporate training than one during a weekend away with friends. It’s for the same reasons a work-place yoga session with employees will have a stronger emphasis on stress management and attention spans while a private course would focus on a physical or mental objective and the day-to-day events.

CIRCULAR BREATHING & YOGA

Circulair breathing is an intense pranayama exercise (breath control). It is detoxifying and cleansing, and at the same time can have a deep spiritual component.

By breathing in a strong way we really wake up and shake up the physical and energetical body. This makes a lot of energy run through the system. After breathing the body & mind go into relaxation were some real healing can happen. By simply resting and allowing energies to surface, we create the possibility of cleaning out all kinds of physical and/or emotional blockages. Some soft yoga postures or shaking practices will support the healing proces.

Staying present in your body and simply observe what is rising and falling in your field of awareness – that’s the invitation.

SPECIAL CLASS – STRESS RELEASE AND SHAKING

In this special class we focus on releasing. What does an animal, a dog for instance do when it gets stressed?
It shakes and lets go of all the weight and tension.

This is exactly what we will focus on in these special 60 minutes. Feet, hands, arms and legs, eventually our entire body will be shaking to the sound of music. In different stages we playfully move and release all kind of tensions, and thereby will rebalance your energy household. We bring together movements from different traditions like Tibetan buddhist movement practices, Chi gong flows and movement meditations as taught by Osho.

All practices lead to the same destination, which is to arrive in a present and awake state and reconnect with our body in a unique but yet very instinctual way.

No prior yoga or meditation experience needed, just an open mind and a sense of humor along the way.

“SILENT SIT CLASS” (Free Class)
During this low-key and guided class flux comes easily. Surrounded by likeminded spirits and in the atmosphere of our beautiful Studio, this upcoming year’s Fridays will revolve around giving back to yourself.  In this restoring meditation class – that is free and open to everybody – silence paves the way as it aims to clear the mind to reconnect with yourself. Leaving you feeling present and grounded. The perfect reset for a calmer, clearer inner world.  After a nourishing guided meditation, let the effects ripple through you during a 30-minutes silenced sit.
As sitting still makes room to listen closely to any resistance you feel, this class centers around the Clear Blue Sky we all hold within ourselves, but that tends to get clouded and cluttered from time to time.
  • During our collective Silent Sit, we direct our time as a practice of self-study through mindfulness. Making room for any cluttering clouds so that they can simply flutter away while strengthening our capacity to be aware of what internal challenges we face. The ultimate objective? Learning how to surrender to whatever ‘is’ and being at ease with whatever life has to offer us by simply sitting with it.
  • Joyful Resolutions. Join our teacher Sjoerd during a 4-week journey to discover what sitting in silence does to and for you. To explore what you need to flourish even more. Experience the healing effects of silence on your (somewhat) clouded mind, but also on your body and spirit.
  • Feel free to join us during a free 4-course journey, or simply hop by during one of them. The length of the meditation will vary from week to week (from 20 to 25 and from 25 to 30 and eventually 35 mins) but whatever you do: feel free to wander around after class to ask Sjoerd the questions that are on your mind or to simply absorb the effects of your seated time.
YOGA & PREGNANCY
During your pregnancy, both body and mind experience an intense and beautiful transformation. Doing yoga helps you to find your balance, provides you with tools to support yourself and helps you connect with you and your baby. Thereby, it prepares you to give birth in many ways.
  •  A class with both soft and powerful poses to build strength and flexibility
  • Builds consciousness and trust in your own body
  • Meditation and breathing exercises to balance body and mind
  • Suitible for women in their 2nd and 3rd trimester
  • Make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your first class for a short intake
