Pregnancy is the most sacred and transformative period a woman can go through. It is a period dominated by change and growth. Not only physically, but also emotionally. It is therefore of utmost importance that we take care of ourselves and our babies. We need extra rest, time to bond and feed ourselves (and our little one!) with nutritious organic foods. Yet, once we have given birth we should keep this softness. Not only to restore, but also to connect with ourselves and babies in this precious 42 days period. Since I just gone through this journey myself and Ayurveda really helped me to stay in my seat, I feel the urge to share this with all mommies (to be).
What will you learn?
In this session you will get to know what is best for you and your baby in certain stages of your journey into motherhood.

- Lifestyle & Nutrition recommendations for during pregnancy
- Lifestyle & Nutrition recommendations for you childbed period
- Ayurvedic herbs to support your recovery from giving birth. Because every pregnancy is different there will also be time to contemplate and share what we feel and experience.
My name is Kim (yoga teacher & ayurvedic student – 31), living in Amsterdam with my husband and daughter Miki. After some years of practicing yoga, I also got inspired by Ayurveda in 2013 and I have felt no regrets ever since. Not only does it quiet my mind, but it was also very helpful during my pregnancy, labor and the sacred 42 days (6 weeks) after. I really believe that every woman deserves a beautiful and gentle pre- and postnatal period and I hope to inspire you in this workshop by bringing in more softness.
